Project Description

SCD carries out a variety of motorway works on technology systems throughout The North East, providing civil engineering and cabling support for maintaining the highway network.

This involves works such as the installation of traffic monitoring units, roadside telephone repairs, earth gantry replacements and access and landing area installations and improvements across strategic motorways and truck roads, including parts of the M1, M18, M62, A1(M) and A66.

SCD also carry out bespoke highway agency-approved upgrade schemes, such as traffic signal renewal schemes.
